KAAST Machine Tools is a machine tool and fabrication equipment manufacturer based in the greater Philadelphia area. KAAST is proud to offer one of the most extensive line-ups of new machinery in North America and is arguably one of the fastest growing machine tool companies in the nation today. Sales engineers must be willing to reach out to warm and incoming leads, analyze and review applications, and quote KAAST equipment in a timely manner. Travel is limited to about 10% and consists of 2-3 tradeshows per year. This position is primarily inside sales, however, KAAST has a company culture that gives our sales engineers the flexibility to visit customers and create strong long-lasting relationships with them.
To keep up with this growth, we are expanding and opening a new showroom in Chicago and need qualified leaders to be responsible for sales and service in the greater Chicago area.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for finding and identifying leads through a variety of sources. Once leads identified, this candidate will reach out and meet with the business' decisions makers to better understand their business needs and how our product could help them.
Responsibilities
- Reach out to new clients, introduce KAAST’s extensive line up of machinery, and grow relationships.
- Work of a list of warm leads, and daily incoming leads.
- Analyze and review client applications and processes, then quote correct machines for their needs.
- Willingness and desire to learn and understand KAAST’s line up.
- Organize, self-motivate, and pick up the phone!
Qualifications
- Capital equipment sales experience. Machine tool and fabrication equipment background is a strong plus.
- Account management, inside sales
- Travel to tradeshows 2-3 times a year
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively over the phone
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office and CRM experience
