Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer support, manage the office with efficiency, and maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
A legal receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and employees in a law firm or legal office. Their duties typically include answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, greeting clients, handling correspondence, managing filing systems, and performing general administrative tasks. Legal receptionists may also assist with basic legal paperwork, data entry, and maintaining office supplies. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential for this role.
Duties:
- Provide administrative support to the legal team, including answering and directing phone calls, responding to emails, and greeting clients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage and maintain the office calendar, scheduling appointments and meetings as needed.
- Utilize Microsoft Office to maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including case files, client information, and other relevant data.
- Perform data entry tasks, ensuring all records are accurate and complete.
- Offer exceptional customer support, responding to inquiries and addressing client concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed, including filing, copying, and other office duties.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a Law Firm, real estate administrative setting, or similar environment is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in a legal administrative role is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and maintain a high level of efficiency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computerized systems is necessary.
- Strong communication and customer support skills are essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism under pressure.
- Familiarity with project coordination and calendar management is highly beneficial.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $22.81 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
