We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our team of caregivers. As a CNA/HHA, you will provide high-quality care to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and promoting independence and well-being. Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as eating, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transferring, and ambulating
- Monitor and report changes in clients' conditions to the administrator
- Provide medication reminders as directed
- Maintain accurate records of client care and communication electronically
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized care plans
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more with assistance as needed
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of experience as a CNA/HHA or in a related field
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience working with elderly or chronically ill populations
Work Environment:
- Work environment is primarily in clients' homes, with occasional travel to company offices or hospitals as needed
- Must be able to adapt to changing situations and priorities in a fast-paced environment
