Reports to: Foreman
Position Summary
The Swamper is responsible for assisting operators and other crew members with a variety of manual labor-related tasks, including loading and unloading materials and/or equipment onto or from trucks.

Essential Functions Statement:
- Understand the basics of equipment operation.
- Load and unload job site equipment and materials.
- Assist Operators with general tasks on the job site.
- Transport equipment to and from the job site.
- Clean and maintain vehicles, tools and equipment.
- Perform general labor duties on job sites, such as digging, carrying materials, and operating hand tools.
- Verbally direct or signal workers engaged in hosting and moving loads to ensure safety of workers and materials.
- Complete required work plans and attend safety meetings as required.

Work Hours and Schedule
This is a full-time position with typical working hours of Monday - Saturday from either 7am-5pm or 8am-6pm. Schedule and hours may vary based on business needs.
Required Experience
Experience: 0-1 years' experience in manufacturing or construction.
Preferred Education and Experience
Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience: 1+ years' experience in manufacturing or construction.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Must be able to accomplish any and all duties with little to no assistance.
