We are looking for a passionate Project Architect with a strong design sense and the ability to independently deliver solutions that exceed clients' expectations. You will be responsible for managing multiple design projects from project inception to construction completion for a range of clients. We seek a dynamic team player with communication, collaboration, and design skills, capable of building strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and consultants.
- Work with our team and clients to establish and interpret the project brief, develop design intent, and refine project strategies.
- Develop and produce schematic design documents that accurately demonstrate design intent using dynamic techniques across a range of modalities.
- Analyze and interpret building codes, space and site requirements, and other technical documents and reports to determine their effect on architectural designs and project scope.
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings of designs and plans for spaces, buildings, and structures suitable for the permitting process and construction coordination.
- Monitor and oversee the construction process, including reviewing and approving shop drawings to confirm compliance with the construction documents.
- Meet with external contacts, including clients, contractors, and engineers, to identify and resolve problems.
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in architecture.
- 4 or more years of professional experience required.
- Proven experience as a Project Architect or similar role
- Proficiency in macOS, ArchiCAD, Twinmotion, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Professional Suite Rhinoceros 3D preferred.
- Familiarity with project management software
- Knowledge of drawing standards and building codes.
- General knowledge of construction.
- Well-practiced management and organizational skills.
- Good judgment and decision-making skills.
