Position Description
The Traveling Sales Specialist plays a crucial role in boosting unit sales, occupancy, and revenue. This role involves collaborating with Community Directors, Sales teams, and Operations to facilitate the acquisition and closure of sales opportunities. Responsibilities include developing marketing strategies, fostering a sales-focused culture, and leading prompt customer engagement efforts in Senior Living.
Job Requirements and Responsibilities
· Provides hands-on sales support on-site for communities lacking a Sales Director or sufficient sales assistance.
· Conducts daily and weekly reviews of closing strategies for prospective residents in the pipeline.
· Ensures effective utilization of the Customer Relationship Management systems for all sales activities.
· Supplies Sales Teams with new residents and contact information to facilitate the move-in process, including necessary paperwork, unit readiness, and resident assistance
· Participates in scheduled sales calls and contributes to fostering a positive hospitality-oriented atmosphere among associates and team members.
· Provides exceptional customer service to residents and visitors, maintaining professionalism and composure in various situations.
· Communicates effectively with residents, families, professionals, visitors, and colleagues.
· Promotes and cultivates a sales-focused culture through active participation in sales and marketing efforts.
· Organizes community outreach initiatives to generate qualified referrals for the Community Director and Sales Teams.
· Consistently achieves goals such as move-ins, inquiries, tours, home visits, phone calls, outreach efforts, sales mail, and events.
· Responds to inquiries, schedules visits, conducts tours, and closes sales according to sales and marketing objectives.
· Collaborates with leadership to train, mentor, and incentivize teams effectively.
· Completes all departmental reports accurately and punctually.
· Works closely with department heads to underscore the team's role in sales.
· Attends and actively contributes to company-hosted webinars, on-site meetings, and leadership meetings.
· Involves travel as based on community needs.
· Advocates for a rapid response to leads, aiming for a response time of less than 15 minutes to prospect inquiries, including evenings and weekends as part of the lead pickup rotation for supported communities.
· Assists in training new sales directors and counselors.
Qualification
· 2-year Multi-site experience.
· Demonstrated sales and marketing expertise with a successful history.
· Exceptional skills in customer service and public relations.
· Possesses a creative, energetic, enthusiastic, patient, flexible, encouraging, and team-oriented demeanor.
· Dedication to serving residents, families, and team members.
· Innovative methods for achieving objectives.
· Effectively advocates for the community and communicates well with residents, families, professionals, and visitors.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant marketing software.
· College degree preferred but not mandatory.
