Compensation Structure:
- Assistant Training Manager, $55,000-$65,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
- Training Manager, $60,000-$70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
- Senior Training Manager, $65,000-$75,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Summary/Objective: The Training Manager (TM) provides programmatic and training support for the training department. The TM supports the strategic planning process, identifies emerging project needs, and manages training and technical assistance to meet stated deliverables.
This position reports to the Program Director. This position may also support other administrative and processing functions within the department as needed. Occasional travel for meetings internally and with project stakeholders may be required.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Facilitates prevention related training and technical assistance to partners to support their grant requirements.
- Tracks program against its schedule, objectives, and reports status to supervisor on a regular basis and others on an as needed basis.
- Develops and modifies training curricula based on needs assessments, planning documents, evaluation reports and data summaries.
- Ensures adherence to state and local laws, rules, and regulations.
- Maintains working relationships with community agencies and organizations.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility: No direct supervisory duties
Work Environment: This job generally operates as a remote position. Most meetings are via webcam; however, it requires some on-site trainings and meetings, and professional presentations in office environments and community-based forums. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as a computer and phones. All necessary supplies are provided.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position (non-exempt) and has a flexible schedule. It requires the ability to produce work on a timeline and can include long hours, including evening and weekends.
Travel: Travel will primarily take place during business hours, as well as evenings and weekends. Some projects may require more out-of-the-area and overnight travel, up to 25%.
Education and Experience:
- Degree in Public Health, Sociology, Social Work or equivalent field is preferred. However, degree status can be exchanged for experience.
- At least two years of experience in facilitation of public health related trainings.
- Prevention Specialist certification or actively working towards certification.
