Best known for Leak Detection & Repair (LDAR) program management, Think Environmental offers a comprehensive portfolio of environmental compliance services.
Think Environmental is looking to expand our environmental consulting services with an ambitious professional who wants to be an integral part of developing our air quality consulting and compliance practice. We are seeking an Environmental Compliance Engineer with 3+ years of professional experience who wants to be a key part of this expansion. The ideal candidate is someone who brings regulatory expertise, process knowledge, innovate ideas and a desire to collaborate. Responsibilities include being the company SME on federal and state LDAR, Subpart W Greenhouse Gas and BWON regulations as well as emissions calculations. This individual will also support customers and employees alike with regulatory guidance and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding of EPA air regulations and permitting
- Understanding of process engineering
- Comprehension of federal & state regulations
- Review & update internal rules as applicable for new and revised regulations
- Permit review & applicability
- Client interaction while answering regulatory questions and providing guidance
- Audits, draft reports & assist with corrective actions
- Involvement in consulting services such as audits, fenceline program development etc.
- Open mindset to new business opportunities with complimentary industries
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering
- Industrial/plant experience
- Good verbal and written communication
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Initiative and desire to grow within the company
- Willingness to travel (25%)
- Ability to work autonomously
