Summary:
As a Manufacturing Engineering Technician, you will support the manufacturing process by assisting engineers in developing, implementing, and optimizing production systems and procedures. Your responsibilities will include conducting tests, analyzing data, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and quality. Proficiency in technical documentation, understanding of manufacturing principles, and hands-on experience with equipment and processes are essential for success in this role
Requirements:
- Working with engineers directly to create work-flow directions.
- Performing panel stuffing, Rib assembly, Mechanical structure assembly, stowed and deployed, alignment, surface installation and stowage operations.
- Experience in the development of face-down strip management.
- Perform panel manufacturing.
- Assist in the development and implementation of manufacturing methods and procedures to optimize production processes.
- Perform mechanical assembly and testing of prototype components and system according to engineering specifications.
- Conduct testing and analysis of prototypes and products.
- Perform quality control checks on engineering designs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of engineering processes and procedures.
- Assist with the preparation of technical reports and presentations.
- Familiarity with mechanical assembly techniques and manufacturing processes.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and mechanical design fundamentals.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Machine Set up, basic programming, calibrating, and troubleshooting programs.
- Electrical RF testing using LabView, Keysight and Vector Analyzer
- Soler, splice, and crimp wires connecting harness to lever three Aerospace ICP standards.
- Blue print reading
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience in writing manufacturing methods and procedures is a plus.
Education
- Associates degree in Engineering Technology or related field
- Proven experience as an Engineering Technician or similar role
- Proficiency in mechanical design principles and practices
- Prefer experience in CAD software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
