The Position
The Senior Process Engineer will add value to the organization by leading continuous improvement projects aimed at productivity or quality improvements while supporting several departments in day to day functions. The successful candidate will utilize a balance of analytical skills, ingenuity and tenacity to establish processes, eliminate variation and execute initiatives in a fast-paced environment. This individual must also be eager and capable to mentor and assist fellow engineers in their development.
FUNDAMENTAL DUTIES
- Supports production processes in day to day activity, identifying and eliminating waste.
- Executes continuous improvement projects to reduce manufacturing costs and increase product and process quality.
- Designs, manufactures, improves and maintains fixtures for supported production departments
- Develops and successfully launches new decorating methods in order to maintain PCNA’s position as a leader in the industry.
- Ability to develop clear and concise work instructions and procedures
- Experience executing capital projects on time and on budget, with clear specifications and acceptance criteria
- Actively participates in cross functional quality improvement program
- Investigates and recommends solutions for production and product related quality, manufacturing or process issues
- Ensures that no hazards exist in the workplace
- Performs other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Six Sigma experience, certification a plus

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- BS in Industrial, Mechanical, Material Science or Chemical Engineering or similar degree.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a successful manufacturing / process engineer. 7-10 years preferred.
