Melmark Overview:

Advancement Manager Overview:
The Advancement Manager is responsible for institutional giving and will manage a comprehensive portfolio of regional corporate, foundation, and government donors and prospects via research, grant applications and reports, sponsorships, and relationship management and stewardship of key institutional contacts. Working with the Director of Advancement, the Advancement Manager will also oversee annual giving acquisition, retention, and increased giving campaigns for individual contributions up to $1,000 via moves management strategies.
Schedule and Salary Information:
- Monday- Friday 8:30am-5pm (on-site)
- Starting Salary: $65,000 (+) based on years of experience
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree
- A minimum of two (2) years development experience in a comprehensive advancement department, or equivalent
- Experience with grant applications, corporate sponsorships, and annual giving, or equivalent
- Exemplary writing, attention to detail, project management, and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office as well as Raiser Edge or other development CRM systems experience
Advancement Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage institutional (corporate, foundation, government agencies) donor/prospect moves management activities, including grant applications and sponsorship proposals, toward meeting current and future fiscal year goals.
- Manage acquisition, retention, and increased annual fund campaigns from donors/prospects up to $1,000.
- Participate in Advancement department cultivation and stewardship strategies, including marketing communications and special events
- In addition to sponsorships, participate in fundraising events, including the annual golf classic and bi-annual gala.
- Other responsibilities as needed.
