5 hours per day, 191 days per year
Step 1 - Hourly rate $16.21
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Cooperate and get along with others
- Work as a member of a team
Desirable:
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions
- Ability to work without supervision
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of a Foodhandler include but are not limited to the following
- Maintains food supply inventories
- Stores and properly labels all unused food supplies and plans to utilize unused food at earliest opportunity
- Maintains the service table with an adequate amount of food at the proper temperature throughout serving time
- Complies with the recommendations of the Health Department
- Cleans equipment and service area
- Insures that equipment is turned off an storerooms, coolers, and freezers are secured at the end of the day
- Understands and maintains the academic and behavioral standards set for the students by the Building Principal
- Notifies the lunchroom manager of any discrepancies in deliveries or equipment problems
- Performs other duties as assigned
