Shell Recharge Solutions is seeking a Senior Hardware Category Manager!
Shell Recharge Solutions is looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the role of Senior Hardware Category Manager. Reporting directly to the Lead Hardware Category Manager, this position is instrumental in executing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing costs within the hardware categories.
Key Responsibilities:

Category Strategy Execution: Assist in the development and implementation of strategic procurement plans for hardware categories for eMobility North America, aligning with overarching business objectives and priorities, including but not limited to EVSE equipment, payment terminals, FCMs and switchgears.

Supplier Management: Manage relationships with hardware suppliers, negotiating contracts, pricing agreements, and service level agreements to ensure optimal value and performance.

Sales Support: support the eDepot and Volta commercial teams with quoting, pricing and customer satisfaction maintenance

Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, emerging technologies, and potential cost-saving opportunities within the hardware market.

Sourcing and Procurement: Lead the sourcing and procurement process for hardware, including supplier selection, RFx management, bid evaluation, and contract execution, while adhering to Shell's procurement policies and procedures.

Cost Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving initiatives, optimize total cost of ownership, and drive continuous improvement in hardware procurement processes.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks within the hardware supply chain, ensuring continuity of supply and compliance with regulatory requirements. Ensure the adaptation of Shell procurement policies and upkeep the BCR and data privacy standards.

Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate supplier performance metrics, conducting regular performance reviews and implementing corrective actions as necessary to drive supplier excellence and accountability.

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT, operations, and finance teams, to understand hardware requirements, align procurement strategies, and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.

ERP System Maintenance: Regularly maintain and update the pricing information in the ERP system to ensure quoting accuracy.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

5+ years of proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management, with a focus on hardware categories.

Strong negotiation skills and ability to drive value through supplier relationships.

Analytical mindset with proficiency in market analysis and cost optimization techniques.

Familiarity with procurement tools and systems; NetSuite and SalesForce experience is a plus.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
