Position Summary
The Flex Shift Supervisor is a member of the Operations Team and plays a key role in providing leadership to deliver business results and operational improvements. The Flex Shift Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day manufacturing operations for the Flex shift along with cultivating a strong group dynamic and a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
· Direct, coach, and develop the flex shift employees.
· Recognize and celebrate employees’ efforts and successes.
· Educate and coach employees on HUI’s 5 Performance Pillars: Attitude, Attendance, Follow Process, Consistent work pace, and being a Good Teammate; hold employees accountable immediately when you see those not meeting the requirements.
· Improve group dynamics by aligning accountability and core values throughout the shift.
· Support leaders of Safety, Quality, On-time, Training and Lean.
· Process time approvals and vacation requests for the flex shift employees.
· Facilitate daily huddle meetings.
· Facilitate all behavioral team real issue meetings and start, stop, and continues.
· Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding employee relations.
· Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
· Other duties as assigned.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office and knowledge of ERP systems (TCM by Work Wise).

Education/Training
· Associates degree in Supervisory Management required.
· Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Work Environment
· 90% - Manufacturing environment; clean, low to moderate noise, safety glasses required and other personal protective equipment where applicable
· 10% - Office environment
Schedule & Shift Hours
· This is a Monday – Thursday position and the hours are 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM.
