Position Profile:
Effectively leads and supports the hotel’s daily operations to ensure service excellence and the highest of quality standards for our guests and team members. As the hotel ambassador the Hotel Manager executes the strategic plans through inspiring leadership to maximize rooms & food & beverage operations and overall engagement of all stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures alignment of the overall vision and strategy for the hotel and Oetker Collection.
Exemplifies and champions our Masterpiece Ambition, Values and Promises and ensures the highest level of personalized service in combination with the best product.
Consistently provides hands on leadership with an open-door policy.
Solicits feedback by regularly interacting with guests and team members in line with a 24/7 operation.
Graciously meets and greets all guests upon arrival and departure.
Leads operational leaders to ensure the LQA standards are executed in all areas.
Evaluates hospitality trends and ensures that the hotel leads the marketplace.
Generates revenue and guest satisfaction by developing new and inspiring service concepts for the hotel.
Is an avid communicator and keeps stakeholders abreast of pertinent information.
Ensures departmental standard operating procedures and guidelines are relevant and utilized.
Reviews reports and inspects all areas of the resort daily, actions and follows up.
Facilitates regular communication meetings including daily briefings per established standards.
Manages profitability & cost control including preparing and managing budgets and capex.
Ensures effective revenue, forecasting and expense management for the hotel.
Ensure all policies and regulations relating to financial, safety and licensing are adhered to.
Monitors purchasing procedures and department inventories for effectiveness.
Oversees workplace safety including surveillance, accident prevention, fire, and chemical safety.
Know, practice and be able to execute all departmental fire, natural disaster, and emergency procedures.
Leads Team Member Engagement and ensure action plans are executed based of feedback generated through continuous conversations.
Champions the hotel's Corporate Social Responsibility & Sustainability programs.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
