Position Title: Class B Industrial Services Operator/Driver
Reports To: Industrial Cleaning Manager
Purpose & Scope of Position: To perform Industrial Services service jobs in the field as directed by the Industrial Cleaning
Supervisor and / or the Transportation & Industrial Services Manager. This position requires working with a team of operators
and technicians to complete various environmental services jobs at customer locations. Work will include safely operating air
movers, vacuum trucks, hydro blasters, excavators, dump trailers, roll-offs, pumps and other industrial equipment, performing
confined space entry work, line jetting, tank & sump cleaning, manual cleaning (shoveling, hand cleaning, etc.) and other field
work as directed by your supervisor.
Essential Duties:
Working on Industrial Cleaning jobs where you are the designated an Operator or Technician.
Understanding the Scope of Work for all work you are assigned to perform in advance of dispatch.
Taking responsibility for the safety, performance and outcome of all work you are assigned to perform.
Maintaining, as directed by your supervisor, all industrial cleaning operations equipment to the highest quality and
safety standards.
Accurately, thoroughly and neatly completing all paperwork.
Leading job walk-throughs with customers and employees before, during and after work is completed.
Working with contractors and suppliers to ensure a quality network of both.
Leading by example with personal safety
Completing all required safety documentation for field work
Promptly and accurately reporting any accidents or injuries
Work directly with customers to ensure service is maintained at the highest standard.
Work with your supervisor to ensure service is maintained at the highest standard.
Assist your supervisor with internal and customer problem resolution.
Assist other departments (Waste Treatment, Transportation, Grease Trap, Sales & Marketing, Administrative) in
customer problem resolution.
Report issues of concern to and resolve issues of concern with you supervisor.
Maintain a positive, courteous, professional relationship with customers and employees.
Following a route and staying on schedule.
Other related tasks as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
High school diploma or equivalent
Must have a valid Class B CDL or higher License with Tanker Endorsement.
Must have at least 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience. Tanker Experience Required
Driving record must be acceptable to the Company insurance carrier
Must be proficient at using handheld devices such as smartphones, tablets and similar tools.
Must maintain professional appearance and demeanor while working
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Must be able to pass a background check
Must be able to pass a preemployment drug test
Willingness and ability to work weekends, nights, holidays and on-call in a fast-paced industrial setting (multi-tasking
is essential).
Must be in compliance with all applicable FMCSA and DOT Regulations
