Job Description:
The Director of Business and Development works with the executive team, 9 regional sales managers, and 250+ channel partners, to develop new and potential accounts across North America. Our product line is uniquely positioned to take advantage of the trend to have networked communication solutions across major school districts. With 10,000 schools already CareHawk loyal, presenting our technology to administration, district supervisors, safety-directors, IT directors and finance committees, will open additional doors and lift the technology in these facilities in the name of safety.

What you will do:
- Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers by scheduling sales calls and demonstrations.
- Develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company products/technology, qualify and prioritize opportunities, and maintain appropriate territory records.
- Foster and create opportunities of full school-district adoption of CareHawk technology.
- Conduct seminars and virtual meetings to generate interest – especially for large scale opportunities.
- Develop financial justifications, prepare proposals, make in-person presentations, and perform necessary follow-up for successful closing of the sale.
- Form connections and create strong affinity with the industry’s key organizations and influential figures.
- Interface effectively with sales team and executive leadership.
- Deliver results against assigned metrics.
- Investigate state contract opportunities.
- Evaluate state and federal purchasing programs.
- Be aware of grant money opportunities.
- Understand existing user footprint and work to migrate old technology to new.
- Report progress regularly – collaborate effectively across all sales stakeholders.
- Learn CareHawk products, integration opportunities, and the competitor landscape.
- Track all activity in our CRM (HubSpot).
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 7+ years related sales experience
- Low-voltage system experience
- Technical Aptitude
- Excellent communication skills
