We are looking for a “hands on” Plumbing Manager that not only knows the residential plumbing service and repair business but can manage the division and lead its growth from start up to functioning entity.
The Plumbing Managerwill be responsible for directing business activities that achieve division goals for growth, profitability, margin, safety and customer & employee satisfaction. The manager will work to ensure that all business activities are conducted in a safe, legal and ethical manner in compliance with company policy and state/federal law.
Responsibilities:
- Build and grow all aspects of the residential plumbing division
- Recruit and hire top notch technicians
- Manage, train and support a team of service professionals
- Monitor teams performance and provide leadership
- Provide technical support for service professionals
- Work directly with Marketing Dept to promote plumbing division
Experience/Skills Requirements:
- Familiar with current plumbing codes
- Must be able to perform under pressure and work with minimal guidance, be a self-starter
- Must be organized and thorough with attention to detail
- Proven revenue generator required
- Computer skills required
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent customer service
- Possesses a "Whatever it takes attitude"!
- Must be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment with proven ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills at all levels within the organization
Experienced with effective departmental budget management
Ability to work independently with high degree of commitment, urgency and confidence
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current active Journeyman Plumbers License required PL01 or PL02
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on residential repair and service field experience
- Minimum 2 years management of residential service technicians required
- Ability to pass driving, BG and drug screen upon job offer
