Prep Job Description
Food safety is an important part of every job station. The prep is responsible for a lot of our menu. The prep cook prepares products and monitors product temperatures for service.
Setting up Prep Station
Turn on equipment, such as chub warmer, oven, CVap, steam table, etc.
Set up the dish wash sink
Prep products such as; prepare rice, cole slaw, dress biscuits, etc.
Insert chubs into the chub warmer
Stock CVap
Set up service line with product and utensils at least 15 minutes prior to opening
Set up sandwich station
While on shift
Maintain product availability, quality and hold times
Monitor product temperatures
Cup sides as needed for service following prep cupping sheet
Assist in preparing sandwiches
Clean as you go
Maintain proper wash/rinse/sanitize levels in the sinks
Wash dishes throughout the shift
Be sure to leave station clean and stocked for next shift
All tables and shelves clean
Side items prepped for service
Biscuits panned and dressed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
Shift:
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
