We are working closely with our client in locating an Instructional Designer to create role-based training for general needs such as MS Windows and Office upgrades as well as large-scale system updates and business processes changes. Training to be a combination of eLearning and immersive ILT/blended programs based on experiential learning, job aids and other supporting materials and cover systems, operations, business process and policy changes related to the updates and include design elements such as system simulations, videos, etc.
Requirements:
- Degree in Instructional Technologies, Education, or Organizational Development preferred.
- 7+ years of hands-on Instructional Design and Development experience including a solid understanding of adult learning principles and ISD methodologies.
- Experience with Articulate 360 (Rise), Camtasia, and similar development tools.
- Strong ability to work cross-functionally and with stakeholders and SMEs at all levels of an organization.
- Comfortable working closely with internal teams and detailed communications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable with ambiguity, conducting research, and learning new technology.
- The ideal candidate will reside in Southern California but can be located anywhere in the US as long as they work west coast business hours.
Start: Mid-July
Duration: 3 months with possible extension (multi-year potential)
Hours: 40 hours per week working standard business hours PST (with some flexibility)
Location: 100% Virtual
The payrate is $55/hour on a W2 basis.
