Position Summary
Perform maintenance and repairs of facility related equipment and buildings, Using electrical, mechanical troubleshooting skills. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to prevent downtime.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and electrical drawings, ability to troubleshoot AC units, while making adjustments and minor repairs if necessary.
- Ability to operate hand tools/shop tools/Multi-meters as need to perform tasks at hand.
- Able to maintain and perform PM's and Service Request.
- Maintain and perform preventative maintenance on all plant supporting equipment. HVAC, Fire protection equipment, loading docks, Plant lighting, compressed air, Plumbing, Painting etc.
- Able to safely and efficiently operate over head cranes, forklifts, RTV, boom, and scissor lifts when necessary.
- Must be able to install electrical and mechanical piping installation for process equipment.
- Must achieve and maintain powered industrial vehicle certification.
- Understand and comply with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
- Performs special projects as requested and related tasks as needed.
Essential Skills and Experience
- HS Diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 Year degree in Maintenance Technology.
- 2-5 years of demonstrated experience in a similar work environment.
- Understanding of Preventative Maintenance techniques and process.
- Understanding of Electrical/Mechanical systems
- Understanding of NEC code
- Basic English language Competency
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Universal license refrigeration
- 2-3 years of HVAC controls experience
