Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, hospice care needs, and other chronic conditions. The Caregiver will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, managing patient behavior, and administering medication as required. Duties:
- Provide individualized care and support to patients with developmental disabilities, hospice care needs, and other chronic conditions
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Manage patient behavior and provide emotional support to ensure a safe and comfortable environment
- Administer medication as prescribed by a physician, and maintain accurate records of medication administration
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as needed
- Provide transportation to appointments and errands, as necessary
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment, including laundry and housekeeping duties
- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition or behavior
- Assist with heavy lifting and transferring patients, as needed
- Demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in long-term care, caregiving, or a related field
- Ability to drive and maintain a valid driver's license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or hospice care needs
- Ability to lift and transfer patients as needed
- Knowledge of medication administration and behavior management techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
