Position Overview
During the whole product life from RFQ to mass production, work as the technical leader between customer and our organization, represent or support project development team to communicate our design concept, design solution, timing plan etc. with customers. Obtain customer approval. Provide timely feedback on customer's product requirement, product issues, on-field issues, delivery requirements etc.

Job Responsibilities

Will be responsible for the on-site technical communication with electric vehicle (EV) customer and/or partners.

Lead the RFQ concept design, BOM creation, and technical presentation to customer for BDU, PDU, E-BOX, Busbar, HV wireharness etc. EV HV products per customer's technical specification, and mating environment.

Assist customer with onsite product testing, pilot runs, mass production to ensure the best possible product, ensuring conformance with technical requirements.

Act as contact person to collect, analyze customer specific questions and issues. Communicate with functional team and timely respond to customers' questions/feedback

Timely communicate and regularly provide customer updates.

Anticipate necessary action to solve problems.

Create awareness about customer requirements towards respective project managers and core team.

Obtain a good knowledge of working methods and processes at the customer side.

Be aware on future needs/adjustments that the customer may have.

Provide an early notice for future projects and RFQs to the Sales, RD team.
Position works in close cooperation with RD, Sales, Program Manager, Quality, and Operation Department to create and maintain excellent cooperation relationship with the customer.

Bachelor's degree or above on electromechanics, Background in science and engineering.

Three plus years experiences in mechanical design, electric design of e-mobility products. Prefer at least one of the design experiences on EV BDU, PDU, E-BOX, Busbar, OBC/DC-DC, or Inverter etc.

Be able to decide the mechanical, electric parameters based on customer input Voltage, current profile, temperature range etc. work conditions.

Preference given to candidates who can independently select high voltage electric components: Relay/ Contactor, Fuse, PyroFuse, Current Sensor, Shunt Sensor.

Must be proficient in one of CAD software's: CATIA, UG, Solidworks etc. for 3D, 2D design. Familiar with GD&T drawing and be able to use Microsoft Office software packages.

Experience reading and designing based on customer specifications.

Prefer candidates familiar with engineering plastics, and Busbar conductor material. Knowledge of molding/stamping tooling and process.

Must be able to orally and verbally communicate using the English language.

Must be able to effectively work on a team.

Experience interacting with international Auto OEMs is preferred.

Must be able to work under pressure, organized, and able to communicate well with customers.

Knowledge of IATF 16949, VAD 6.3, procedures, and 5 quality tools FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP is preferred.
