QUALIFICATIONS:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.

Effective oral and written communication skills;

Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching techniques and strategies;

Demonstrated expertise in Immersion programs and second language acquisition strategies;

Experience in the design and/or implementation of immersion programs and innovative techniques in language acquisition and/or related fields;

Evidence of good human relations and social skills;
-
Teaching experience in Immersion; and
-
Advanced-Low oral and written skills in French preferred.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Masters Degree from and accredited college or university in World Languages, Second Language Acquisition, Bilingual Education, Elementary Education or related field required. A minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching experience is required.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Administration I Certificate required; Advanced Professional Certification in World Languages or Elementary Education.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
No direct supervisory responsibilities.
