Lodi Garage Doors and More has an immediate opening for a Showroom Associate. A successful Showroom Associate interacts with and works well with others in our fast paced and ever changing industry. This person should have solid customer service skills and be comfortable assisting customers with problem resolution. Duties include both receiving calls from customers as well as making outbound calls to prospects and customers.
The Showroom Associate is responsible for making product recommendations based on customer application, tracking quotes, following-up on quotations and selling retail items in the showroom, opportunities and other additional tasks as required. We need a sales-minded, reliable, outgoing candidate to work in our main Phoenix location.
Position overview for the Showroom Associate :
- Assist customers on the showroom floor at our main location
- Solicit Retail and Custom builder business on behalf of Lodi Garage Doors & More (make outbound calls and mailings)
- Participate in product knowledge meetings and staff meetings
- Work Saturday and evenings until close schedules as required, and participate in trade show activities.
- Take incoming calls from potential customers and existing customers
- Assist with Costco leads, work Costco planned events
- Create and maintain relationships that encourage customers to do business with Lodi Garage Doors
- Strive to increase knowledge of the entire product offering, and stay abreast of new products, features & accessories
- Help to maintain the appearance of the showroom
- Provide exceptional customer service through enthusiasm for company and products offered
- Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00a.m. until 5:00p.m. (May choose a 1/2-day to work)
Required Skills and Experience
- Self-motivated individual with a high level commitment to customer service
- Strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, computer literacy, a high sense of urgency with a high degree of organizational skills.
- Candidates must be able to work within a team environment, multi-task, meet deadlines, and have a positive attitude.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Familiarity with the Construction industry highly desirable
- Must be a US citizen, pass a background check and drug test
