Job Duties:
- Responsible for all aspects of the marketing process from initial submission to the binding of coverage
- Determine the appropriate markets to be approached
- Assist producers in market pick selections, obtain and analyze quotations and declinations from various insurers
- Prepare proposals for presentation
- Develop and maintain a close working relationship with insurance company underwriters and wholesale brokers
- Calculate figures and provide oversight for the purpose of tracing and adjusting errors
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you'll need:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of related experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Current P&C license or must be obtained within three months of hire date
- Highly organized with ability to multitask
- Strong interpersonal communication skills (comfortable speaking with clients)
- Ability to prioritize and quote multiple insurance carriers
- Ability to think creatively and problem-solve
- Friendly, positive personality with a can-do attitude and desire to succeed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
