Job Description
An established independent insurance agency is looking for the right person to join our “TEAM”. Looking for a highly motivated and organized individual for a position as a Personal Lines Account Manager. The position will require the following:
Responsibilities:
- Be a key team member of the Personal Lines team
- Provide excellent customer service to clients
- Consistent and timely communication with clients, carriers, and producers
- Process changes and endorsements
- Provide evidence of insurance and auto ID’s
- Assist with claims reporting
- Monitor renewals
- Maintain all pertinent client information in the agency management system
- Exhibit excellent organizational skills with attention to detail- Working with various insurance coverages- Work closely with producers
- Quote and issue new insurance for producer’s prospects and clients. *Obtain and review applicant information & collaborate with producer regarding applicant information & markets
- Market coverages with multiple carriers
- Provide new quotes to producer and/or client
- Enter client and policy information into the agency management system
- Focus on Retention
- Proactively monitoring accounts prior to renewal
- Consistent and timely communication
Desired Skills:
- Active MO Property & Casualty Insurance License required
- 2 years experience in Personal Insurance
- Experience servicing, quoting, and issuing Personal Insurance with multiple carriers
- Knowledge of computer software programs – Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Agency Management system experience
