- Maintains responsibility for developing and establishing an initial budget for clients (payees) and revises the budget as situations and needs change.

Plans for, distributes client money on a regular schedule, and pays client bills on a timely basis.

Performs banking functions on behalf of clients and reconciles client bank accounts. Keeps client records organized.

Confers and negotiates with landlords, utility companies, and business on behalf of the client regarding payment of bills.

Communicates with Social Security Administration and completes required annual reports regarding clients.

Coordinates with the courts and completed required reporting for Guardianships of Estate.

Assist and support during government auditing of client records.

Collaborates with co-workers and others to encourage clients to work toward independent, meaningful, and productive living.

Maintains the highest level of integrity and professionalism in all aspects of job performance.

Keeps abreast of current trends and “best practices” in the field. Attends and participates in required training on topics relevant to the job.

Associate degree preferred.

3+ years bookkeeping, accounting or related experience required.

ONI is looking for a Payeeship Clerk to assist in financial planning on behalf of clients to protect against financial abuse and exploitation and the coordination of Guardianships of Estate financial responsibilities.
This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position with a pay range of $18-$19 per hour.
This is a remote position but applicants must reside in Ohio.
