When needed Candidate must be able to work hours ranging 9am-5pm and 10am-6pm
Candidate Must be reliable, and have reliable transportation.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE CLINIC
· Manage patient flow/ triage patients documenting medical history, vital statistics, and test results.
· Support duties/set up for diagnostic and technical treatment procedures, special medical equipment, and apparatus such as Ultrasound, PRP, and Tenex/ Tenjet.
· Assisting providers with exams and surgical procedures
· Meaningful Use.
· Assessing and responding to prescription refill requests
· Managing a provider’s caseload including patient recall
· Preparing exam rooms for office visits and office procedures
· Scheduling appointments and addressing patient phone calls appropriately
· Providing patient education and post-operative care instructions
· Prior Authorizations for MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Visco Supplementation.
· Orthotic fitting
· Providing coverage where ever it is needed within the practice.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· Certified Medical Assistant is required
· CPR certification
- Required High School Diploma or equivalent
- Medical Office Experience: 2 years (preferred)
- Knowledge of business office procedures & medical terminology preferred.
- Computer skills including, but not limited to, MS Office.

- Working knowledge of common medical practices/policy/procedure (Orthopedic specific)
- Maintaining a professional attitude and attire at all times
- Ability to multitask is a plus
