ECS is seeking a Network Engineer to design, maintain, and troubleshoot computer networks.
Responsibilities:

Network design: Creating secure network designs that maximize the use of equipment like routers and switches

Network configuration: Building network configurations and connections, and installing systems

Network maintenance: Performing routine maintenance, configuration changes, and updates
-
Network security: Ensuring network data is secure and protected from cyber-attacks
-
Network performance: Monitoring network performance and analyzing traffic behaviors to identify and resolve issues
-
Documentation: Creating and maintaining documentation for monitoring systems, processes, and hardware devices
-
System standards: Defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards
-
Disaster recovery: Establishing procedures and best practices for data backups and disaster recovery operations

Troubleshooting: Identifying and solving network issues, and providing change and problem management support

Communication: Explaining how networks work to colleagues, supervisors, and customers
Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in computer science, network engineering, or a related field

Relevant certifications, such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware
-
Knowledge of network protocols and services, such as TCP/IP, DNS, proxy and DHCP

Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.
