Maintenance Technician (MUST BE A US CITIZEN)
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for a dynamic high tech R&D company. You will be working with a small creative team! ESI is looking for energetic, enthusiastic, intelligent individuals with a "Can Do" attitude that are willing to learn and grow within the company. The successful candidate must be willing to clean, organize and maintain a mechanical research environment. They will be expected to work and communicate closely with their more experienced team members on a frequent and regular basis. ESI is not looking for an individual who is just expecting a pay check, but one who is committed ESI's growth.
Partial List of Responsibilities:
- Build/modify and maintain test facilities and test models
- Organize and maintain a clean work space.
- Maintain and improve the performance of existing instrument
- Take responsibility for different tasks in multiple projects simultaneously
- Be capable of writing technical documents.
- Service/maintain equipment including pumps, fans, blowers, electric motors, and other related equipment.
- Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns.
- Adjusting mechanical parts using hand and machine tools.
- Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks.
- Regular communication with the R&D team and maintaining a clean work area.
- Knowledge of CNC mills and 3D printing a plus
Technician Requirements:
- Degree in mechanical engineering technology or similar field preferred.
- Previous work experience as an industrial maintenance technician.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Basic computer and report writing skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment.
- Good time-management skills.
MUST BE A US Citizen and capable of passing a background check.
