Faces of Hope is a 501(c)3 Nonprofit Corporation that has been serving Ada County since 2006. Our mission is to reduce victimization with a safety net of crisis services. Our wrap-around services are designed to meet the legal, safety, education, and basic needs of individuals who have been affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, elder abuse, teen dating violence, and stalking. We use a holistic approach, offering services designed to break the cycle of interpersonal violence. Civil/legal providers, social workers, counselors, case managers and advocates work together, to streamline how we help our clients.
Job Description:
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Clinical Director will oversee all aspects of the Clinical Program and shall also provide individual therapy for clients at the Center. Our counseling program is intended to provide immediate, short-term 6-8 weeks of individual trauma –informed counseling for victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, elder abuse and child abuse who come to the Center seeking help and safety. Our counselors will assist in referrals to long term counseling services when appropriate. The Clinical Director will also be responsible for organizing and planning Faces of Hope support groups, including our teen support group, sexual assault support group, and educational classes. All counseling offered at the Center is free of charge.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with current Idaho licensure in good standing.
- Experience in crisis intervention, trauma counseling, and conflict resolution.
- Experience with recovery, mental health, and other co-occurring disorder programs.
- In-depth understanding of the dynamics of interpersonal violence and the ability to provide compassionate and appropriate support for child and adult victims of sexual violence/interpersonal violence.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check with fingerprints.
Duties and Responsibilities
Supervision and Support:
- Develop and implement a measurable trauma-informed clinical approach to supporting survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, and elder abuse—that compliments existing programs in the Center.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director on the development of policies and procedures relating to client services and programs to ensure that client needs, agency standards and funding requirements are met.
- Document/report demographic data, program progress and concerns, and maintain accurate statistics. Ensure adherence to the required HIPAA and documentation requirements as identified by county, state and federal regulatory agencies.
- Develop/maintain relationships with clinical intern placement agencies (BSU; NNU; etc.)
- Develop and supervise an internship program (preferably master’s or licensure-level candidates).
- Provide consultation and supervisory support for the case management team.
- Conduct regular staffing meetings.
- Collaborate with administrative staff in grant writing and reporting.
- Evaluate all clinical staff annually.
- Responsible for managing client electronic medical records for all clinical staff.
Direct Client Services and Program Support Functions:
- Maintain consistent weekly office hours and facilitate individual therapy sessions, for survivors and their children.
- Develop curriculum, support curriculum development, facilitate training, and/or facilitate client support or educational groups as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in trauma-informed treatment/therapy.
- Experience providing supervision to clinical staff and/or interns.
- Experience as a clinical director, clinical supervisor, or clinical manager.
- Experience in grant reporting for statistical, demographic, quarterly and annual reporting.
- Clinical license for a minimum of two years and ability to provide state qualified supervision for licensure.
- EMDR and/or TF-CBT certification and practice.
