Currently looking to hire Certified Special Education Teachers around Peoria/Glendale- AZ. These are full-time positions for the Next school year 2024-25 Starting July last week/August 2024. The ideal candidate will possess previous school experience as a Special Education Teacher.

High School Position :-
- 1 position teaching the following classes: 1st Semester -Econ/Government Concepts (all special education students, approximately 15 students in the class), Financial Algebra Strategies (all special education students, approximately 15 students in the class), Econ Co-taught. 2nd Semester - Econ/Government Concepts (all special education students, approximately 15 students in the class), Econ Co-taught, and Algebra 1 strategies (all special education students, approximately 15 students in the class).
- Required certification: Special education k-12
- 1 position teaching the following classes: Algebra 1 strategies (all special education students, approximately 15 students in the class), Geometry Strategies (all special education students, approximately 15 students in the class), and Earth/Space Concepts (all special education students, approximately 15 students in the class).
- Required certification: Special education k-12, preferred to also be highly qualified in math as well
- 1 position teaching the following classes: 1st semester – 2 sections of geometry co-taught, 1 section of leadership strategies (all special education students, approximately 15 students in the class), 2nd semester – Financial algebra strategies, Financial algebra co-taught, and geometry co-taught
- Required certification: Special education k-12, preferred to also be highly qualified in math as well
- 1 position teaching the following classes: Algebra 1 strategies, geometry strategies, and algebra 2 strategies both semesters strategies (all special education students, approximately 15 students in the class).
- Required certification: Special education k-12, and highly qualified in math
Responsibilities and Duties
Adapt classroom work for the purpose of providing students with instructional materials.
- Administer developmental testing programs, subject-specific assessments, etc.
- Advise parents and/or legal guardians of student progress.
- Monitor students’ behavior/activities in a variety of educational environments.
- Participate in and/or coordinates a variety of meetings (e.g. PLC, IEP, Department, School) for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform functions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher in the field of Special Education from an accredited university program
- Valid Arizona Special Education Teacher Credential.
