**Now Hiring Front Desk Agents for All Shifts**
We are located 10 minutes from O’Hare International Airport and 30 minutes from downtown Chicago. We are a full service hotel with 245 guest rooms, Bar Louie Restaurant, fitness center, and meeting space.
As a front desk agent you will assist guest with their request and balance accounts throughout. The front desk is the first point of contact and the first impression for guests. Warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance reassure guests they've made the right choice to stay with us.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Welcome guest in a friendly, prompt and professional manner.
- Check guest in, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and room location.
- Answer phones in a prompt, and courteous manner.
- Up-sell rooms where possible to maximize hotel revenue.
- Check guest out, including resolving any late or dispute charges.
- Perform the bucket check.
- Post daily room charges to folios.
- Perform the final reconciliation, print a recap of the day's activities, and clear the system.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Computer knowledge
- Hotel experience but not required
- Friendly, professional, great customer service.
- Responsible and reliable
- Schedule flexibility
- Ability to work on a fast pace environment
