Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the Store Manager in daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maximizing profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily store operations in the absence of the Store Manager
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and training new staff members
- Manage inventory levels and ensure stock replenishment
- Monitor and maintain visual merchandising standards
- Handle cash register operations and reconcile daily sales
- Implement and enforce loss prevention strategies
- Support with scheduling, shift management, and employee supervision
Experience:
- Proven experience in retail management or a similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Proficiency in retail sales techniques and customer service best practices
- Knowledge of clerical duties such as record-keeping and inventory management
- Experience with recruiting, interviewing, and training staff members
- Familiarity with cash register operations and handling financial transactions
Preferred Skills:
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in market analysis or product placement optimization
