S. Albert Glass is currently hiring experienced Project Managers for our Commercial Contract Interiors Glazing Division. We specialize in High End Corporate Interiors consisting of Custom Glass Walls, Entrances, Lobby Remodels, Decorative Glass Products and Glass Handrails, and are Seeking Diversified, Highly Energetic Individuals, Self-Motivated, Hard Working and Knowledgeable within the Glass & Glazing Trade. Candidates should have excellent communication skills and be able to work well with others. Teamwork and positive interaction with co-workers is a must.
Commercial Glazing Project Manager Responsibilities
Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously ranging from $ 25,000 to $ 2 Million.
Manage submittal process with subcontractors. Prepare, submit, and review returned submittals
Release and track procurement of materials
Prepare and submit change orders
Project Accounting Functions, including preparing monthly requisitions for work performed
Manage close out procedures and documents
Manage client satisfaction, project budgets, quality of work, and completion dates
Regular communication with clients, architects, owners, subcontractors, suppliers including job site visits, face to face meetings and written and oral communication
Follow company policies and procedures to uphold our ethical and quality standards
Maintain project binder and computer files to include project documents, change orders, materials.
Build and maintain relationships with client, subcontractor and supplier base
Analyze completed project for timeliness, quality, and budget vs cost.
Oversee and Manage Assistant Project Manager and help contribute to their growth.
Requirements for Project Manager
3 years of Glass and Glazing industry experience
3 years demonstrated on-site field experience Glazing
At least 3 years Project Management experience
Ability to manage submittal process and procurement/release of materials
Ability to prepare and submit accurate and timely change orders
Manage multiple projects meeting client expectations, changes in scope, project budget and deadlines * Self-motivated with a positive approach and strong time management skills
Highly organized, detail oriented and customer focused
Strong computer, verbal and writing skills. Proficient with Microsoft Suite
Valid Driver’s License
