Summary
As an Account Manager for the Lubricants Division, you will oversee projects and maintain positive business relationships with assigned customer accounts, striving to exceed customer expectations by performing the following duties from our Aberdeen WA office.
Role & Responsibilities

Proactive liaison between the company and its customers in order to maximize the value of products and services provided.

Evaluate established customer purchasing trends and support optimization of volume/margin for account profitability.

Collaborate with assigned sales representatives to assist growth of existing business or acquire new business.

Research lubricant-related questions and provide technical support to customers and Customer Service team.

Collaborate on new account setup and pricing and reconciliation with Sales, Management, and Finance.

Communicate with Sales team, Operations, and customers on outstanding issues that need immediate follow-up and document the process.

Make ongoing proactive and reactive customer calls to ensure a positive relationship with assigned accounts.

Liaison with PetroCard’s Maintenance and Supply and Distribution teams to coordinate necessary tank monitoring and site regulatory issues related to the safe and efficient delivery of Lubricants to customers and industrial sites.

Organize and document all communications and account information in CRM and company intranet files.

Expedite the resolution of customer problems/complaints and track within CRM.

Provide regular progress reports and manage tasks on assigned accounts.

Special projects and reports to be assigned as needed.
Job Requirements

Associate’s Degree and two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience in downstream petroleum markets (sales, customer relations and service, transportation) highly desired.

Knowledge and experience with project planning, development and evaluation as well as the ability to meet project deadlines.

Excellent organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and exercise superior judgment to make decisions.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.

Computer literacy, with demonstrated experience with Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and Internet Explorer or equivalent).

Team player with ability to interact effectively cross-functionally and with all levels of the organization.

Strong written and oral communication skills along with the ability to negotiate or influence.

A customer service mindset for both internal and external customers.
