POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for greeting persons entering the lobby area and offering assistance. Performs miscellaneous support functions as assigned. Provides Spanish translation services as needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Assumes responsibility for the effective performance of assigned greeter and support function.
Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining friendly, professional business relations with external members, vendors, and trade professionals.
NON-ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective business relations with Credit Union personnel and management.
Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Required Knowledge: Knowledge of the fundamentals of good customer relations.
Experience Required: Three to six months customer service experience.
Skills/Abilities:
Good communication and public relations skills.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Cooperative and willing to assist others.
Well-organized and attentive to detail.
Able to use basic business equipment and telephone.
Ability to fluently speak and read in both English/Spanish.

Education/Certification: None
Preferred Knowledge: Basic understanding of business service functions.
Experience Preferred: Prior clerical or customer service experience helpful, particularly in a sales environment.

STANDING: For extended time periods.
FINGER DEXTERITY: Using primarily just the fingers to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects, or pinching fingers together.

TALKING: Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.
REPETITIVE MOTION: Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
AVERAGE HEARING: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
AVERAGE VISUAL ABILITIES: Average, ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery.
PHYSICAL STRENGTH: Sedentary work. Exerts up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally. Lifts up to 10-15 lbs.
WORKING CONDITIONS NONE: No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions (such as in a typical office).
