Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead and inspire our clinical teams across Southern California. In this pivotal role, you will supervise and evaluate clinical services, ensuring high standards of patient care, and manage a dedicated team of nursing professionals. This position requires travel across our Southern California centers, offering you the opportunity to make a significant impact in various communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a dedicated team of nursing professionals, ensuring the delivery of top-quality patient care.
- Uphold professional standards of nursing practice and ensure compliance with state health statutes, CDC, and OSHA guidelines.
- Develop and implement service policies and procedures, maintaining comprehensive patient care policy manuals.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and evaluation of nursing personnel.
- Coordinate and manage patient care services across multiple centers.
- Establish and maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Address patient complaints and implement corrective actions, ensuring patient satisfaction.
- Ensure accurate billing and reimbursement processes with insurance companies and other third-party payers.
- Participate in performance improvement programs and contribute to committee activities as needed.
- Engage in continuing education programs to stay updated with nursing best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Current CA RN license
- BSN from an accredited nursing school.
- Proven leadership skills with at least two years of nursing experience and one year in a supervisory role.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including spreadsheets, word processing, and efficient use of the internet and e-mail.
- Knowledge of insurance reimbursement and health insurance billing.
- Valid CPR certification, health certificate, driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Annual Salary: $150,000 - $160,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
