The Role:
The SALES SUPPORT COORDINATOR is an integral member of our Sales team. In collaboration with 4-6 Field Sales Representatives, they ensure customer needs are met in a timely and effective manner. They provide market intelligence to Sales Representatives on potential leads, and ensure orders are fulfilled accurately, responding promptly to customer inquiries and requests. Teamwork and excellent communication skills are key to this role
Core responsibilities include:
- Receiving orders from assigned field sales representatives and takes inbound calls for the territory to coordinate product shipment promptly and accurately. Monitors shipments providing updates to Sales Representatives/ customers as potential issues arise.
- Fulfilling requests for product samples to Sales Team and Customers in line with guidelines.
- Contacting prospective customers via telephone and email. Conduct market research to develop warm leads. Vet lead list for warm and cold leads. Identify prospects that fit the target demographic
- Managing data for new and prospective clients in Salesforce CRM, ensuring that communications are logged accurately and required documentation is maintained for assigned Sales Reps and territories.
- Supporting inbound customer calls and follows ISO training on any and all complaints or concerns.
- Communicating requirements to warehouse to ensure adequate stock is on hand to fulfill orders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or sales related field a plus but not required.
- 1+ years of experience in Sales Support/ Inside Sales. Salesforce or other CRM systems experience a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal/ customer service skills (both oral and written)
- Detail oriented, driven to mistake-free work with excellent follow-up.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Basic use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
This position is full time from our Northbrook, IL. office.
