```Duties```
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with menu planning and recipe development
- Ensure proper food storage, handling, and sanitation procedures are followed
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
```Skills```
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or similar food service setting
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of menu planning and dietary restrictions
- Experience as a dietary aide or in a culinary role within a dietary department is a plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines
- Flexibility to work in different areas of food service, including catering and meal preparation
