Job Title: Production Laborer
Location: Fort Benton, MT
Shift: This is a 10-hour shift. 5a.m. to 3:30 P.M. or 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday thru Thursday
Pay: This is an hourly level position with a starting rate of $17.50/hour
Position Description:
The Production Laborer position will report to the Plant and or Shift Supervisor and perform duties in an industrial hemp processing facility. Duties will include but not limited to tasks such as operating and inspecting production facility equipment, unloading trucks, operating a forklift and other equipment, packaging and palletizing products, general facility/grounds cleaning and maintenance.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Prioritize and maintain safe working practices and a safe working environment.

Follow GMP and SOP policies.

Cleaning facilities, equipment, and machinery.
-
Maintain work areas, isles, and grounds in a clean and tidy manner.

Troubleshooting and repairing machinery as needed.

Safely operate various types of lift equipment and other equipment as certified.

Loading and unloading materials.

Monitor processing equipment and lines for efficient operation.

Package materials.

Works closely with operators, technicians and supervisors

Accepts and performs tasks assigned within specified timelines while gaining physical and technical skill sets

Demonstrated ability to learn new jobs and cross train on positions in the oilseeds and or fiber facilities.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent, additional education or training a plus.

Prior experience Operating heavy equipment and forklifts a plus.

Basic understanding of computers and math comprehension.

Prior manufacturing (grain or food processing) or agriculture experience a plus.
