Palmer Lake Facility
Pay Minimum: USD $100,000.00/Yr. Responsibilities:
Levels of care at this facility include: Medical Detox, Inpatient/Residential Rehab, Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient Program, Outpatient Rehab, Medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and Aftercare Planning
The Assistant Clinical Director is responsible for providing 24-hour management of all clinical functions of the facility, in conjunction with the Clinical Director. Together with the Clinical Director, the Assistant CD is responsible for providing effective leadership to the clinical staff, has knowledge of the organization, provides marketing support for the facility, and directs all activities within the facility in accordance with standards of State and Federal regulations.
CORE JOB DUTIES:
Works effectively with the facility leadership team to ensure success of the facility by completing the following:
- Assists Clinical Director in developing effective clinical programming and ensures staff compliance to the curriculum.

Assists Clinical Director with proficiently auditing documentation to ensure compliance to company policy, state regulations, Joint Commission standards, ASAM standards, and Medical Needs Criteria. This Includes:
- Biopsychosocial Assessment
- Comprehensive Problem List
- Integrated Master Treatment Plan and Updates

ASAMs
-
Individual, family and group therapy session notes
- Discharge Summary
-
Monitors group therapy sessions to ensure quality programming is delivered and to ensure compliance to the program curriculum.

Works closely with the Clinical Director to ensure all clinical staff are meeting 90% compliance on facility metrics. Provides at least twice monthly feedback/coaching sessions with staff to improve lagging metrics.

Monitors staff’s performance, providing coaching and discipline as needed to ensure peak performance.
- Identifies areas for improvement within the department by analyzing data and developing, implementing, and documenting plans for improvement and outcomes.

Provides group therapy, when needed.

Provides caseload management, when needed.
- Provides Clinical Supervision to clinicians who are not independently licensed/certified.
OTHER REQUIRED TASKS:

Assists Clinical Director to ensure departmental goals are met.

Assists Clinical Director with meeting with all employees at least bi-monthly to provide feedback on documentation and therapeutic performance and to provide guidance and coaching as needed.

Assists Clinical Director to effectively monitor staff’s performance, providing coaching and discipline as needed to ensure peak performance.
- Leads Daily Flash Meetings in the absence of the Clinical Director.

Leads Clinical Staff Meetings in the absence of the Clinical Director.

Assists the Clinical Director to recruit and hire clinical team members.

Maintains positive relationships with all staff.
- Creates a positive environment for staff.

Provides a safe and therapeutic environment to all staff and patients.

Performs other tasks, as assigned.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or health-related field.
-
A minimum of 2 years’ management setting familiarity, with continuous Quality Improvement, JC standards. Commission skills to relate to all levels of management staff. Resume should reflect required experience.

Five (5) or more years of Addiction Services/Treatment experience. Resume should reflect required experience.

Independently licensed to practice clinical discipline in Colorado, as applicable, required.
LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor)
LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)
LMFT (Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
LAC (Licensed Addictions Counselor)

CPR Certification required.
