Job Summary:
Join our team as a Risk Management Specialist where you will play a crucial role in risk management strategy. You will be responsible for overseeing data collection, statistical analysis, and risk assessment to ensure the company's financial stability and compliance with regulations.

Pay Range: $75k - $80k
Responsibilities:
- Manage Workers’ Compensation costs by overseeing the medical claims process. This includes coordinating with the injured employee, their supervisor, the insurance carrier, and the medical facility to ensure a quick recovery and return to work. Determine and assign transitional duties as needed, document claims, conduct claims reviews, and perform daily cost control activities. Order surveillance and investigate accidents, using independent judgment to determine causes. Advise the Director of Human Resources on cash reserve needs to cover financial exposure.
- Communicate drug screen results following the Internal Drug Screen Process. Oversee the Leave of Absence process and handle employment verification requests.
- Manage relationships with health clinic and laboratory vendors, including negotiating rates and services, overseeing Chain of Custody, and ensuring Medical Review Office and clinic service standards are met.
- Maintain and ensure the accuracy of corporate OSHA logs and required postings at all locations. Generate and submit requested reports and information to governmental agencies.
- Collaborate with USCC Safety Consultants to ensure Branch and Manufacturing management comply with safety regulations. Report unresolved compliance issues to the Director of Human Resources. Develop and provide safety and procedural training, especially on Workers’ Compensation topics like claims reporting, investigations, and transitional duties.
- Perform other duties and projects as needed to meet company goals and objectives.
