**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Head Server to join our team at a bustling restaurant. The Head Server will oversee the front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and smooth service flow.
**Duties:**
- Manage and lead the front-of-house staff to provide excellent customer service
- Train new servers on restaurant procedures and standards
- Help conduct monthly events and help Mananger with tasks
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery
- Operate POS systems for order entry and payment processing
- Handle cash transactions accurately and securely
- Utilize strong math skills for bill calculations and cash handling
- Promote sales of menu items and specials
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems
- Proficient in operating a cash register
**Qualifications:**
- MUST HAVE WINE EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
- Previous experience in customer service, guest services, and food service roles
- Strong knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, and sales techniques
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of kitchen operations to facilitate smooth communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams
