Hennig, Inc., a leading machine tool protection manufacturer located in the Rockford, IL area, has an immediate need to add an IT Systems Specialist to our team in order to support our rapid growth.
Under the direction of the Director of IT, the candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Evaluate existing ERP processes and provide solutions to problems
- Provide Training to employees for maximum utilization of IT systems
- Provide support for day-to-day problems to keep systems operating at optimal levels
- Assist with Install and configuration of PC's and various other network devices
- Assist with maintaining network connectivity of all computer / network related equipment, internet service, VPN, etc.
- Assist in network design and implementation
- Assist with creation and maintenance of network users/permissions
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Competency:
- Associates / Technical Degree or 3 years experience in a related field
- Strong understanding of ERP systems, strong understanding of Windows PC's and basic networking, and strong interpersonal skills to assist non-technical individuals with complex technical issues
- Scripting and/or programming experience is a plus
