Job Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Specialist prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable. Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers. Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Issue invoices, update AR schedule and resolving payment discrepancies
- Assist with customer correspondence and implementation
- Reconcile AR, Deferred Revenue with Delivery Report and generate sales report monthly
- File sales tax monthly/quarterly and make payments
- Assist with Sales tax audit and other financial audits
- File labor statistics report monthly
- Maintain Credit limit of customer data and file claims for default invoices
- Weekly cashflow report
- Generate monthly customer payment report
- Analyze monthly customs duty and allocates the payments to each import
- Assist in month end close process
- AD Hoc projects
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience

Working conditions:
- Works in an office environment.
- Sitting for extended periods of time. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and mouse
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- May be required to work after hours and on weekends or holidays
Physical requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities
