Unique opportunity to join a Hospice partnered with a family-owned Mobile Medical Primary Care and Psychiatric practice. The Hospice Liaison will work to build and maintain the area census and drive referral and admission goals.
Job Summary:
Sapphire Hospice has an immediate opening for a Hospice Liaison in the east valley. This position is responsible for growing the hospice program by increasing awareness of the services through marketing activities. It is also important to identify key referral sources as to their potential and to develop marketing plans to increase referral responses.
Responsibilities:
- Determines primary decision makers and proactively builds positive, solid working relationships with members of the medical community and partners.
- Works to build the brand of the hospice as the preferred hospice provider in our service area to achieve and exceed agency goals for growth and census management.
- Promotes and positions Hospice's patients care service through regular visits in a manner that illustrates and reflects the Hospice's quality of care and unique capabilities.
- Secures new referrals, build census, and meet established goals on new and existing referring physicians; facilities; case managers, discharge planners and social workers in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, group homes, and other health care providers.
- Conducts initial meetings with the patient and their family to give an overview of hospice service and philosophy and obtains consents for care.
- Proficient in sales techniques and strategies to drive business growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication.
- Previous experience in medical sales, account management, or outside sales is preferred.
Requirements:
· Minimum one to two years’ experience in hospice marketing with established accounts
· Skilled at establishing/maintaining working relationships with key staff, marketing contracts, and clinical staff to ensure thorough understanding of hospice services
· Proven ability to generate and maintain relationships with new and existing accounts including physicians, healthcare professionals, and community agencies

Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
