Job Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Accomplishes warehouse operations/human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures
- Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results
- Calculate and report Weekly and Monthly KPI’s. Develop and use metrics to analyze and resolve work problems, to train and motivate the staff for high performance.
- Achieves financial objectives by initiating corrective actions, programs, and processes to drive down operating expenses.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists Team Leaders and associates in solving work problems, motivating the staff for high performance.
- Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by enforcing adherence to requirements, advising management on needed actions.
- Interprets Company policies and procedures for associates and enforces safety regulations.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
- Investigates and reports all on-the-job accidents and injuries in a thorough and timely manner.
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Develops warehouse design by planning layout, product flow, and product handling systems, evaluating and recommending new equipment
- Achieves warehouse operations operational objectives by contributing warehouse operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends.
- Develops warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; developing, implementing, enforcing, and evaluating policies and procedures; developing processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Oversee inventory management/control, ensuring accuracy, accurate inventory stock locating, interfacing with internal customers to maintain supply chain consistency
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
- Drive and improve customer satisfaction through development of feedback strategies and continuous evaluation of warehouse performance using measurement tools to establish benchmarks.
- Contribute to the success of the corporation by participating in Six Sigma initiatives is a plus, suggesting operating improvements processes & productivity, reduce expenses, improve communications, and utilize best business practices in conjunction with corporate policies & procedures
- Investigates customer complaints involving such matters as damaged product or equipment, over or under shipments, and delays in unloading, picking, packing, etc.
- Extensive knowledge of warehouse or distribution operations including, safety, inventory control, warehouse layout & efficiencies, shipping / receiving processes, expense curtailment, performance evaluation measurements, and a keen sense for customer satisfaction
Skills/Qualifications:
- Comprehensive knowledge of warehouse operations.
- APICS CSCP certification desired
- 7+ years’ supervisory experience including hiring, scheduling, training, performance management, staff development and associate discipline.
- The ability to manage associates in a 7 day/week, multiple shift operation.
- The ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- A good knowledge of OSHA regulations and requirements.
- The ability to operate industrial truck equipment.
- The ability to train others in safety, warehouse operations and the proper use of industrial truck equipment.
- Outstanding leadership, customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

Pay: $85,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
