Responsibilities:
- Oversee the billing operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency in invoicing processes
- Manage and lead the billing team, providing guidance and support as needed
- Develop and implement billing policies and procedures to streamline operations
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and improve processes
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments
- Prepare financial reports related to billing activities for management review
- Coordinates Support to customer service team handling client relations
- Coordinate with vendors for billing-related inquiries and issue resolution
- Maintain organized billing records for audit purposes
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in billing, accounting, or finance role
-Experience in Medicare, Medi-Cal and Private Insurance claim submissions.
- Strong understanding of clerical and administrative procedures
- Advanced knowledge of Windows office applications including Excel and Access.
- Excellent budgeting skills with the ability to manage financial data accurately
- Experience in vendor management and negotiation
- Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Proficient in schedule, calendar, and office management
